How We Harvest Our Snail Mucin — Gently, Sustainably, and Cruelty-Free


Our snail mucin is collected using a gentle, automated process developed on our farm in Stilbaai. The snails are placed in a calm chamber that softly moves them side to side, encouraging natural mucin secretion. The mucin drips into sterile trays, is filtered, and then freeze-dried to preserve purity and effectiveness. Afterward, each snail is washed, hydrated, and fed fresh carrot and water before returning to its habitat — no harm, no stress, just sustainable skincare innovation.
